We’re delighted to announce that Marketing Cheltenham is officially launching this month and you’re invited to our launch event to find out more. Established by Cheltenham Borough Council, in partnership with Cheltenham BID and Cheltenham Tourism Partnership, we will be working to help encourage more visitors to the town, and supporting the local tourism, hospitality and leisure economy.
Tourism is currently worth over £154 million to the local Cheltenham economy and has remained fairly static for the last decade, relying on big ticket events such as racing and the Cheltenham festivals to draw in crowds. Marketing Cheltenham is set to build on that, with an ambitious target to increase tourism value by 5% annually from 2019.
