Cheltenham Information Exchange

As part of Cheltenham Borough Council’s (CBC) Welcome Back programme and commitment to supporting the town’s economic recovery, a new pop-up information pod has been installed on Cheltenham High Street.

The pod acts as both a physical as well as virtual information point, helping to inform visitors to Cheltenham town centre of the latest events and things to do in the town – as well as an opportunity to engage the general public on projects and initiatives from a range of local partners.

The Information Exchange features large externally facing maps and digital screens that highlight what’s on today across the town as well as more details of local initiatives and events. When ‘staffed’, the Information Exchange will also have an internal space where the public will be able to ask questions and pick up leaflets and further information on things to do in and around the town.

On behalf of CBC, Marketing Cheltenham is inviting local organisations, groups and charities to make use of the Information Exchange for their own pop-up space, right in the centre of town. So, whether you are a local community group looking for an opportunity to engage with the public, or an arts organisation wishing to promote your latest exhibition – or perhaps you might even be a local event or festival organiser that would like a pop-up box office – we’d love to hear from you!

Operation Prices (as of July 2022)

  • The iX pod can also be rented on a daily basis to provide a pop-up promotional opportunity for your event, festival or business from £75 + VAT a day.
  • To advertise on the digital screens is from £60 – £80 a week + VAT for 2 screens.
