Cheltenham’s traditional Christmas market returns tomorrow

The Christmas market will once again return to the heart of Cheltenham, bringing festive fun and nostalgia.

The market will run from 22 November until 15 December 2018, brought to you by Geraud UK in partnership with Cheltenham Borough Council and Cheltenham Business Improvement District (BID).

Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the season and soak up the magic with mince pies, mulled wine and special visits from Father Christmas.

The Christmas fair will be bringing unique traders and, for the first time, the London Christmas Bus and the Nordic Bar where shoppers can enjoy speciality festive drinks.

German beer,  seasonal sweets, crepes are just a few winter warmers on offer, along with a range of foods including freshly made Belgian hot chocolate, hog roast and giant Yorkshire pudding wraps.

There will be a spectacular showcase of handmade goods, accessories, household items, clothing and much more, making the market a perfect spot to get set for the yuletide fun and helping shoppers find the perfect gift.

Kevan Blackadder, director of Cheltenham BID, said: “We are excited to be bringing the Christmas markets back to the town and enjoy working alongside Groupe Geraud who are bringing new and exciting exhibitors this year.”

Bridget Mason, regional marketing  manager at Groupe Geraud, said: “This is a wonderful event that the brings the magic of Christmas to the town we have a fair of crafters, artists, gift shops and gastronomic surprises that the residents and visitors of Cheltenham will love and help get them into the Christmas spirit.”

Cheltenham Christmas Market will be open until late from 9am Monday to Saturday and from 11am on Sundays.
