A417 Missing Link: Have your say…

Resented by many, the three-mile stretch of single lane carriageway between the Brockworth bypass and Cowley roundabout in Gloucestershire has been causing problems for road users and local residents for years. Driving en route you may capture the outstanding natural beauty of the Costwold area, but standing idle in traffic is nobody’s idea of fun, and worse, it restricts access to Cheltenham for business people and visitors alike.

Following a long-running lobbying campaign by local people, Highways England is launching a consultation into the options for the A417 ‘Missing Link’ and would like you to share your thoughts. Numerous events are taking place around the county where you can find out about the options and will have the opportunity to speak to representatives about the project. Public consultations into route options will begin on 15th February and the campaign will be open to feedback until 29th March.
