The Lucky Onion expands with the launch of The House and Gin & Juice

We would like to congratulate our member No.131 on their two exciting new additions, The House which will be opening just in time for Cheltenham Race Week and Gin & Juice.

Classic on the outside, contemporary British on the inside, this beautiful Georgian townhouse, part of The Lucky Onion family, will feature eight new guest bedrooms and plenty of fun spaces, opening in time for Cheltenham Race Week. The new bedrooms are each individually designed, with either a grand Georgian bedroom overlooking Cheltenham’s leafy gardens or a cosy hideaway with beautiful roll tops baths. Every detail has been accounted for, including Egyptian cotton bed linen, unique pieces of furniture and original artworks from some of the UK’s biggest names including Banksy, Tracey Emin and Peter Blake.

Downstairs No. 131’s bar, Crazy Eights has also been transformed into Gin & Juice, continuing the hotel’s renown as the place to party on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Alongside house DJ’s playing into the early hours, there is a selection of over 350 gins that will amaze beginners and satisfy connoisseurs. Guests can sit back and relax with their favourite tipples in The Snug which can be privately-booked. Gin & Juice will also be offering an all day brunch menu, making it the perfect spot to work in before moving from coffee to cocktails.

No. 131’s restaurant truly seals The House’s position as the perfect new destination for a gastronomic getaway. In keeping with The Lucky Onion’s passion for seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, Best of British is the order of the day. With delicious dishes ranging from traditional classics to modern European fare, guests can tuck into the likes of ‘Longhorne Beef Carpaccio with Truffle Mayonnaise, Parmesan and Rocket’, ‘Roasted Red Leg Partridge with Red Wine, Belly Bacon, Mushroom, Cream Potato’ and ‘Sticky Toffee Pudding with Clotted Cream’.
