Marketing Cheltenham statement regarding the passing of Kevan Blackadder

Kevan Blackadder and Jess Goodwin at Cheltenham’s Christmas light switch-on 2019

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our close colleague and friend, Kevan Blackadder.

We had the privilege of working closely with Kev in recent years – sharing an office and taking daily inspiration from his leadership, energy and determination to make a difference for Cheltenham and for businesses in the town.

And make a difference he did. His contribution to Cheltenham cannot be underestimated – including so many of the town’s biggest events and celebrations that have helped to shape our Festival Town status. The significant role Kev also played in establishing and championing Marketing Cheltenham is a legacy that we will forever be grateful and proud to continue to deliver upon.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kev’s family and our colleagues at Cheltenham BID at this difficult time.
